There is no better back exercise as far as I am concerned. If I were pressed I would say that medium grip bent overs are close but it is hard to compare the two since the mechanics involved are so different. Based solely on results, however, I would say they are close. Still, I prefer pull ups over the rows simply based on how they feel.

You can't compare a bent over row to a pull up dude. BORs involve so many other muscle groups to a way larger degree. Like rear delts for example. BORs hit those puppies hard. Pull ups still activate them but dont stress them nearly the same way. If you want to compare the only logical comparison is the lat pull down.
