Performed 60 yard shuttles on the local miniature playing field. For the uninitiated, what this means is:
set up markers at 5, 10 and 15 yards from your start line. Sprint to each marker in turn, 5, 10 and 15, then in reverse, 10 and 5. This may not sound like much- 5 yards is only 3 strides to me, but believe me it'll wipe you out done quickly! I understand it's an american football thing, but the crossfit lot (whom I have nothing against by the way- it's just that their workouts inspire fear, panic and terror in me) have latched on to it, which is how I heard of it. Good times!
