Today is day 1. I managed to get down stairs and bust out a pretty good "first" workout.

Flat bench: 135 x 15, 225 x 6, 245 x 4
Incline bench: 135 x 12, 185 x 7, 205 x 5
Cable crosses: 45 x 9, 45 x 7

Bent over rows: 135 x 15, 185 x 9, 225 x 6
Seated low pully rows: 120 x 13, 140 x 10, 160 x 11

SS - 3 sets each...
Seated db lateral raises
Seated db bicep curls

It felt GREAT. Its the first lift I've had in a long time and to be honest I have no idea WHY I havent lifted. I have hapkido tomorrow, TKD on Thursday and I lift again on Friday. I might do arms and some legs - which isnt much what with the achilles, but I can at least do some extentions....

Sore already. Chest is pretty torn up. Triceps, biceps.... not shoulders though, oddly enough because they were screaming while I was working them.

In all seriousness that would be SOO COOL! I'd LOVE to have a training partner like you Joy!

Made it to Hapkido tonight. First time in over two weeks. God it felt good. Tonight we worked on throws. I busted out in such a sweat by the end of the class, lol, it was gross.

Two days down...

LOL, you're right, I know. I did the same thing when I was getting close to getting out of the Army, had a little count down calendar and everything, lol. I was Sgt Short-timer :D

Made it to class tonight. Thats 1 lifting session, 1 hapkido class and 1 TKD class. Tomorrow is my next lifting session which, depending on how sore still am, might be just back (again since it never got sore), biceps and light shoulders. Saturday is going to be whatever I can do for legs, cals and stretching. Sunday is absolutely nothing, lol...

I upped the ante tonight though. My school is hosting a tournament in two weeks and I registered to compete in forms. So, seeing as how I missed the last two weeks of class I have two weeks to learn my form perfectly and be competition ready.... what have I done? BUT, thats not all! My school has a wednesday night sparring class which not all students attend. Starting next Wednesday I will be. Good lord, I've lost my mind...

This means I now have two classes on monday, two classes on wednesday and then one on thursday.... ooph....

I'm hoping I will be. I'm actually feeling REALLY good! I think something was wrong with me for a while and that whole heart thing might have been my bodies way of telling me so I couldnt ignore it anymore, lol. I used to be sooooo sluggish, depressed, just not "me"... it was such a chore to just get out of bed in the morning let alone workout. But lately I've been getting more and more back to normal. I didnt realize how bad it had gotten until it started getting better. Like I could NEVER have thought about tackling all this two months ago.

Whatever it is, I'll take it and run like I stole it :D
